What makes my readings different?
First, I'm not involved with Sun sign horoscope readings, like you see in the newspaper. Those kinds of readings are vague and general and could apply to just about anyone. I enjoy researching your chart (see my readings page). That means that I need your birth date, time of birth, and location of birth for an accurate reading. You might need to contact the city hall, hospital, or bureau of vital statistics at the capital city of the state that you were born in to learn your exact birth time if you're not certain.
Second, I am proud to say that I studied with renowned Astrologer Isabel M. Hickey in Boston, Ma. during the early seventies. I was part of her "Friday night Fix" meditation group, at B.U.
I studied in many astrology "rap groups" during that time period, which was a great way to learn.
I began teaching beginners Astrology classes in 1976, in Camden/Rockport (Maine) Adult Education classes. I have led workshops combining astrology with meditation and spontaneous surprise experiential practices. Fun is necessary when learning... I have been writing an Astrology column in the Maine Well Being since 1993. I also have a monthly column in the Crestone Eagle (Colorado) and that's been since 1997. I have had radio shows in Rockland Maine (WRKD) in the '80's and in Alamosa, CO. on the public radio station (KRZA) entitled, "The Daily Astrological forecast, with your ...cosmic pilot." I have a weekly column in the Free Press (Rockland, Maine) which you might be able to find online.
My new project is: a radio show that I started on February 5, 2009 at 8pm entitled, "Positively Moody Blues," I love the Moody Blues music. Sometimes I invent interesting contests with their music and the winner receives a half hour chart reading for free.

This is written by me, Ananur. Here's a great romantic tale, and it's true. I got an email recently from a client, from out of state, who came for a chart reading in September (2008). She didnt come here asking about a true love appearing or even wondering about that at all which most poeple are thinking about,and it's oh so natural to think that way.The heading of her email read,"it happened." I'm thinking, I wonder what? I didnt rememeber what I had told her, as I pray and meditate for each client's Higher Self to guide and direct me as to what needs to be said and heard at the moment of the chart reading. So, I was curious. She reminded me in her email that I had told her (on tape) that she would be meeting "her true love" soon, within a year, and that he would be someone she had met briefly a few years ago. He would be from another country and they would eventually travel abroad together. Also that both of them would "KNOW" that this was "it." Well, her email explained in great detail how they met! What fun and so uplifting to read such a wonderful event, where they both, did indeed, "KNOW." And so it goes, they are now together and very much in love. And yes, he is from another country, and they did meet briefly years ago. Wow, that even blows my mind. so is this considered my testimony?

New testimonial: by Leby Bedell: In a reading you did for me in December 2008, out of the blue you mentioned you saw me running an alternative school. Interestingly, I have been hired as the registrar for the high school where I have been teaching 'high risk' teens for about 3 years. Yesterday, at a registrar training, one of the IT consultants made the comment, "Did you know that registrar means the keeper of the records and virtually runs the school?" Also, you looked at me moving to North Carolina, Wyoming, and several other US states. I haven't made a permanent move, but I have been on the move. "I phoned Ananur in March '06 for a reading about my dire financial situation.
